Busy Busy Busy

This past week has flown by, literally! I cannot believe that is is a week since The Knit Studio opened its ancient doors. I actually managed to sit on one of the sofas and knit a little myself today - perfect.
And, because it is late I shall leave you with this little fellow -

A Hebridean lamb.
and, before you ask - yes, you will find Hebridean Shetland yarn in The Knit Studio sourced via The Wool Shed from a range called Flying Flock.

Showing You My Sheep!

In response to a comment from a friend - here are the cutest sheep ever and the start of my flock!
These are the twins - still to be named. I love their little flowers. They were donated to Woolfest 2010 for the fundraising Sheep Auction by Derbyshire Guild of Spinners, Weavers & Dyers and I was lucky enough to win them!

Next up is this splendid sheep - I am quite intrigued by how this was made - and probably have a book somewhere on the subject of Needle Felting. What do you think?

Woolfest 2010 Road Trip

Have just returned home from Woolfest in Cockermouth. Am exhausted but excited, saw so many gorgeous yarns and met loads of great people. Won 3 sheep in the Sheep Auction and bought some yarn, of course!
I am going to have a G&T now and will upload my photos later.

Woolfest 2010

Tomorrow, I am off to Woolfest in Cumbria with Suzanne ! I am really looking forward to it - I shall also be meeting Lindsey, from Edinburgh there - we are meeting at the Sheep Auction. (I hope she doesn't bid on the sheep I want!)
